Legacy Builders Alliance

From business leads to community needs.

Redding, California · Established Non-profit

Who We Are

The professionals who help when life happens.

When something big happens in your life, you usually need help from more than one person. A financial advisor. A realtor. An estate attorney. A grief counselor. Most of the time, those people don’t know each other. Legacy Builders Alliance is the room where they do. Members refer to each other, support each other, and put on free events to help the people of Redding plan ahead, no matter what stage of life they’re in.

What We Mean By Legacy

It’s not just money.

It’s the memories you leave behind. Your presence. Your physical, mental, and emotional health. The example you set without realizing you were setting one. And a lot more.

We use the word legacy with all of that in mind.

What We Stand For

Four Pillars

All rooted in legacy.

01

Learning

Workshops, lunch and learns, an annual conference, and the kind of resources you actually use.

02

Synergy

The networking gets you in. The friendships keep you. Referrals and real support are how it shows up week to week.

03

Community Impact

Free public workshops on the things families actually have to figure out: buying a home, caring for aging parents, planning ahead.

04

Fun

We genuinely like each other. Expect mixers, parties, and the occasional ridiculous group photo.

Coast redwood forest in Northern California

Why The Redwood

No redwood stands alone.

The roots are the surprising part. They’re shallow, almost shockingly so for a tree that grows three hundred feet tall. What keeps a redwood standing isn’t depth. It’s the network. Every redwood in a grove interlaces its roots with every redwood around it. They hold each other up in storms.

The cone in our logo is a redwood cone. Redwoods are native to Northern California, where we live and work. They live two thousand years. Legacy. We didn’t pick the metaphor. We recognized it.

A better future begins with today’s seeds…

Stages we serve.

The redwood lives in stages. So do families. We’ve built our alliance around six of them, from beginnings to what gets passed on. There’s a partner in the room for each.

The Seed

Beginnings & potential.

The redwood begins as a cone, releasing seeds in fire and storm.

Birth, early childhood, foundational family.

The Sapling

Youth & identity.

A young redwood reaches for light, finding its place in the canopy.

Adolescence, early independence, education.

The Mature Tree

Contribution & strength.

Tall, established, providing shelter for what grows around it.

Career, parenting, business, homeownership, peak earning.

The Aging Tree

Reflection & legacy.

The crown thins. The work is taking its final shape.

Empty nesting, retirement, caregiving, downsizing.

The Fallen Tree

Release & transition.

The tree comes down, sometimes slowly, sometimes all at once.

Death, grief, divorce, health decline, end-of-life.

The hardest stage. The one we walk through most carefully.

The Nurse Log

Continuance & inheritance.

The fallen tree becomes the soil the next generation roots into.

Estate, inheritance, traditions carried, legacy lived.
